To create the integrated navigation and orientation systems on the basis of Innalabs sensors, Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and Attitude and Heading Reference Systems (AHRS), we have used the rich professional experience of Innalabs specialists in the field of navigation and orientation systems.
All system components, including accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, firmware and software are Innalabs proprietary technologies and developments.
Currently, we have two versions of the IMU available. The first Innalabs IMU (called the CVG43/AL-2 IMU), is based on the Innalabs 43mm CVG Gyroscope, and has a performance of 1 deg/hr bias stability, at constant temperature. The second IMU (the CVG17/AL-2) is smaller and lighter, and is based on Innalabs 17mm CVG gyroscope, and has a performance of 2 deg/hr bias stability at constant temperature.
We also have several IMUs under development. Please click here for a preview.
Advantages:
-
High accuracy and reliability. IMU accuracy is ensured by high-precision operation of its components, accelerometers and gyroscopes. For AHRS the precise detection of object orientation is additionally guaranteed by effective processing algorithms.
-
Small dimensions and low power consumption. The power consumption of individual components form the overall power consumption of the entire system. Combined with up-to-date digital electronics, we have achieved minimum power consumption.
-
The low cost of IMU and AHRS can be attributed to the low cost of the sensor production and effective procedure of integrated system calibration.
