For measuring angular rate and object orientation, Innalabs developed Hemispherical Resonator Gyroscopes with metal alloy resonators. They are ideal for applications that demand high operation accuracy, low cost, and good shock and vibration resistance. The gyroscopes have a unique design and structure that significantly reduces the requirements for expensive production facilities (Patents pending).

Currently, we have three models of CVG gyroscopes - 11mm, 17mm and 43mm.
The high performance CVG43 gyro is measured at 1 deg/hr bias stability (constant temperature), while the CVG17 gyro has a lower performance of 2 deg/hr (constant temperature), is lighter and has a smaller footprint. The CVG11 gyro is an 11mm cylindric resonator made of special allow featuring a high bias and scale factor stability.

Our gyroscopes offer the following advantages:
- Operational accuracy and stable parameters allow for use in navigation and orientation systems.
- No fragile quartz elements in the construction ensure robust operation in strong vibration environments.
- Relatively simple design helps to lower the cost of production and provides for a greatly increased production yield.
- Small size and low power consumption allow for use in mobile units.
